NYAMASHEKE: KABONEKA INAUGURATES DISTRICT OFFICES, MEETS STAFF

The Minister of Local Government Honorable Kaboneka Francis has today inaugurated the new Nyamasheke District offices headquarters and met the entire district staff from the Cell to District levels.

The new district offices building construction works cost RwF 1.5billion. It was built over a period of four fiscal years. It is built of burnt bricks and granite tiles, all made in Rwanda. It is now hosting seventy five staff making the entire district head offices staff except the District One Stop Centre operating in a separate building.

The Minister commended the district for moving from the old and not-fit offices. He urged officials and staff to ensure service delivery, customer care and citizen centered leadership, hygiene and sanitation as well as transformational mindset.

Besides, Minister Kaboneka met with the entire district staff from the cells to the district to discuss issues hampering service delivery and citizen satisfaction as well as human security related issues.

The District leadership was requested to ensure that; actions are taken to resolve any emerging issue to ensure service delivery, citizen satisfaction, eradication of malnutrition and proper hygiene.
